Quality Assurance
Every lot is laboratory-tested, traceable to origin and shipped with a certificate of analysis. Our quality system is built on ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP principles.
In commodity export, quality is not a slogan — it is a specification. At JQ EXPORTS, every parameter of every consignment is defined in writing, tested against international standards and documented in a certificate of analysis that travels with the shipment.
Our quality management system
We operate a food safety and quality management system aligned with ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP principles, covering supplier approval, incoming inspection, in-process control, finished-good testing, storage and dispatch. Our facilities are registered with FSSAI and our exports are registered with APEDA.
What we test, and how
- Physical parameters: purity, admixture, damaged/discoloured kernels, size grading (mesh/colour sorting).
- Chemical parameters: moisture, total ash, acid-insoluble ash, volatile oil (spices), curcumin content (turmeric), capsaicin/colour value (chilli), oil content (oil seeds).
- Food safety: aflatoxin (B1 and total), ochratoxin, pesticide residues per EU MRLs / US FDA tolerance, heavy metals, Salmonella and E. coli.
- Organoleptic: aroma, taste, colour and appearance evaluated by trained panellists against reference standards.
Sterilisation & treatment options
Depending on destination requirements we arrange steam sterilisation, ETO treatment or irradiation at certified third-party facilities, with treatment certificates issued accordingly.
Pre-shipment inspection
Buyers may nominate a third-party inspection agency (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, TÜV or similar) at origin. Inspection fees are transparently quoted and the report is shared before dispatch.
Traceability
Each batch carries a unique lot code linking the finished goods to raw material lots, grower clusters, processing date and quality records — enabling rapid recall response and full audit trails for your own customers.
Certificates we ship with
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin (non-preferential / LDC), phytosanitary certificate, health certificate, certificate of analysis, FSSAI/APEDA registration copies, and any destination-specific documents (e.g. FDA prior notice support, EU health certificate for certain products).
